I would have loved to have had a 5/door Ep. Damn it looks so contemporary.

IMO, it would look that much better in black, silver, red or even blue perhaps. Also I would expect at least a 150 h.p. diesel or 200 h.p. K series.

if my ep is a mini-mini van(they call it) this ep in the pic would be a station wagon.:D

Yeah, the 5-door looks good -- not too different from the 3-door hatch.

Wonder if Honda will ever expand the EP line in the US.

3 or 4 of Honda Japan's cars are awd turbo 1.5's

95 GSR
01-19-2003, 03:17 AM
Is that AWD turbo?

Suk02Si
01-19-2003, 03:35 AM
no(offered in 4wd but no turbo), but the Life, Fit, That's, and others are offered in a 4wd version

I posted some pics of that bodykit awhile ago and nobody seemed to dig it. It'd be the only one I'd consider...if I could get my hands on the set.

It would be cool to have one of these four doors and modify the doors so they slide back like they do on a minivan. That was actually one of the crazy thoughts i had about my EP.

CleanBlackSi02

That's actually a sweet idea. I'm not a huge fan of the "show" scene, but if I was building a 5 door EP civic hatchback I'd sure as hell try and do that. If they actually sold it that way, I'd be sweeter. Personally, I don't mind having a car that is minivanish...I happen to like some minivans.

hi pal :)
i am currently driving this civic hatch in Singapore.

btw, it is called EU1.
5dr civic hatchback auto.

churns out only 110bhp with its 4 speed auto.
Singapore does have quite a number of JDM and UK spec EP3 running around. but it costs quite a bomb at our tiny island.

JDM EP3 costs Sing dollars $115,000 in singapore.
tat's roughly the equivalent of US$70 grand in yr country ?

Hope u dun mind me joining in yr discussions in future :)

cheers,
Kelvin

it may do honda well to bring one of these to the states. mazda will have the new 3 series 5 door, ford has the focus 5 dr in std and svt trim. you also have the matrix/vibe and pt cruiser vehicles to compete against
honda may also consider a sportier version of the 4 dr civic to compete against the spec-v, the protege/3 series mazda, the neon srt-4, and i'm sure there will or are others i haven't thought of.

second most asked question is why honda doesent sell trucks, everyone wants one.....

would this set the sport truck world on it's ear?

of course.;)
