I live in Northeast Massachusetts, and I have visited 3 dealers looking for a 2003 EP3. The best price I got was $17,613 for a Vivid Blue Pearl EP3 w/ side airbags and 17 miles. The others were $17,990 and $18,460.

I tried talking them down to 17k even, but no luck. I might have some leverage in getting some accessories thrown in...but let's say if I don't get any accessories do you think it's a good price, or should I turn down this offer?

I realize I could pick up an 02 for probably a $2k savings, but I like the Blue color, and I don't want the mileage that the 02's have racked up (anywhere from 50-3500). Not to mention that they've just been sitting there for over a year....

It doesn't seem like they're going to budge :(

I'm just gonna try and get some free accessories out of them if I get it from that dealership.

I got my 03 for $17,500 with absolutely no talking about accessories. The dealer whined that they were basically giving the car away and to ask for accessories was rediculous. Tell them 17.5 and walk out. They'll give you a ring in about 30 minutes. Good luck.

Chris

PS...in the end they accidentally threw in wheel locks. I wasn't complaining nor did I mention anything to them about their error.

try a couple of other dealerships for good measure. wont hurt to spend extra time especially if u can save a grand or more. and even if u cant get it any cheaper at least in the end u made a very educated decision

i'm in the Washington DC area and 2002 eps are going for under15gs NEW, the only difference betweent he 2003 and the 2002 is the color of BLUE. good luck in your find, but 17gs is way to much in my opinion.

I bought a Blue EP 2 days before christmas and I got it for 16,995 with only Taxes and Tags added to it. Plus i got extended 5 years warranty for it free and 1.9% APR for 60months. However, you said the model you want has side airbags, I'd go for it since I went to 3 dealers and not a single one had any EPs with side airbags.

that's not bad, I think i've gotten one of the lowest prices on the board so far, but see if they'll go down a little.

That's about what people would quote as the "wholesale" price.

Most of us with better prices than yours got '02 EP's.

Something you want to think about, if you're sure of your finances, is that driving six hours to pick up a car could very well be worth the savings to you.

So if somebody a few hours away form you got an '03 EP for a thousand less...I'd call his dealer, set it up, and head on down there.
