High Compression OEM VTEC KILLER build begins.

Well I've been running the OEM Vtec killer setup for over 2 yrs now. Frankly, it is not the pointless mod that I've read so much about and everyone judging with opinion of being a waste of time. With the right tuner, the car has been a DD that I also track for fun as is the hobby. The block is still stock and still sees 8500 blasts daily. I believe she deserves a refresh so parts have begun to be ordered. So far I've ordered

Wiseco Pistons 11.7
Manley H beams
OEM bearings...

Will be ordering: Cartel DIC

Does anyone who's rebuilt their motors can chime in on anything else I should replace/upgrade to continue the service of the motor...Thoughts and ideas are all greatly welcome! (BA2ep3 been a big help already!)

Got it u think that 4 piston ported pump is worth it or the stock pump will do....I don't see going over 8600 rpm...

If you can source one id go with a k20z3 oil pump. Its pricey, but its built in balance shafts will help your bottom end last longer!

I'm thinking of shelling out for the 4piston modded k20a2 one...but summabitch is 300...wondering if it's that much better...did find a hybrid tensioner...a used one for 200...these things don't go bad right?
