When I got my ride, as the rest of you did, there were 2 key fobs supplied. I recently had to replace the battery in the one I use all the time. I like to keep the extra set fresh, in case of emergency.
The stock battery lasted near 6 months and noticed its range was fading, so I got a new battery for it. The replacement battery I got cost $8 bucks and is guaranteed for 3 years. If I ever need to have it replaced, It will be free of charge. I recommend getting this added warranty as they will not likely last 3 years.:)

I picked it up at a local "Battery Plus+", don't know if you guys have them down there.

The battery is a Duracell 3v -- p/n DL2025.

good idea.

For the more money minded, you can also get the battery at any Radio Shack for $2.99 US or $4.99 Can
