Hey all I am from western WI. I don't currently own an EP3 but I am trying to decide between the EP3 and a DC5 base when I get my current car sold. So I'm just soaking up as much as I can about them while I'm here :)

Welcome. It's mostly a matter of taste, unless you wanted the Type S. The DC5 wheel wells have more room for fitting tires in the 255/17 or bigger range. The EP, of course, has a larger cargo area.

I want a type s but price and insurance are a bit higher. Also i have a fit rite now, I like hatches and I like the extra room so the EP is what im thinking. but most around me are high miles so I have to choose carefully to not find one that is piss pounded.

The last few cars I have owned have been the highest trim level. I feel like buying a lower trim is robbing yourself of what the car was meant to be. So buy the car you want, not a base model. Just my opinion though.
