After 7 yrs of owning the EP its time to move on.
I have learned alot from this site and its members and I wish i could contribute more back to this community...
say by stripping the car of the fun stuff, and giving it away, but sadly it doesn't work that way.
So some lucky person is going to get a sweet deal and they wont even know.
I will try to send them to ephatch, so at least the knowledge will live on.

Thanks again Ephatch, I hope you treat the new owner well.

As a long time member I can tell you that it is one of those cars you will always miss. Hence why I've finally purchase one again.

Just checked your add... Hold the phone! You have a D3 Double Cross Brace? I need that (I'm also Canadian so shipping wont kill me). Please sell me that piece.

My EP3 went to the scrappers with the XX brace on it. I wish I'd been able to take it off, but it was too hard.

one lucky guy will scoop that brace from the junkyard and pays like 5 bucks for it. My local pickurpart junkyard posted their new arrivals for this week and there's one ep between them, hopefully i'll find something like this in it

I hope that's the case. I also accidentally left a fairly nice watch in the center console (it was flooded & reaching in there was deeply unpleasant). I don't know if the watch was able to survive salt water for days, but I hope someone got both the XX-brace & the watch & is still happy to this day.

that's understandable man. Though that xxbar is so rare that it worth scubadiving for it

It was arguably the best mod I did to the car.

Some kind of steel, d3 was no longer able to obtain the tubing at a fair price and therefor stop production. I had purchased both the front and rear on the last available batch. Wish I had never sold them when I parted my last ep, should have hung them in my garage.

Yeah, no kidding. They could have made an interesting basis of a car-part wall art display.
