Being a perfectionist, my CTR didn't turn out to my expectations. The glueing is what killed me. I touched the back windows accidently with a little glue on my fingers, even wore latex gloves. It was down hill from that. I "tinted" the back windows in true ctr form and it looks way better here is a pic of how it turned out.

Good job man, the hardest thing i found was that when you glue in ithe back windows, that the only place to apply the glue is the outside border of the window, where it turns the window trim white. It's hard to explain, but i'm sure you know what i'm talking about.

Thats the part that I am worried most about assembling. I was going to put a single drop of glue at each of the four corners to minimize the threat of: A. too much glue, B. whitening.
How about painting the border the color of the car then glueing?

as long as you stay away from crazy glues like CA, then it shouldn't dry out the plastic and turn it white. If you can get a hold of some type of cement like plastic or model, then it should turn out okay.

and your model came out good, I don't see anything wrong with it

My model went to hell too, it started when I tried to glue the suspension components, then I painted the body and the paint bubbled up, so I said screw it.

I used Testor, plastic model cement. Didnt use much, but the shit still turned white! I have no idea what to use on clear plastic. All the glue i used turns them white
