Obviously K20A2 plugs are step colder that K20A3, so if you are looking for step colder plugs in an A3/CRV you want to run Type-S units.

If you're swapped (FROM and A3 to an A2/Z1/Z3) and are looking for step colder, these are the part numbers you need:
NGK
STOCK HEAT RANGE - BKR7EIX-11 - STOCK NUMBER 6988
1 STEP COLDER - BKR8EIX - STOCKNUMBER 2668
2 STEP COLDER - BKR9EIX - STOCKNUMBER 2669

Denso Iridium POWER

2 STEP COLDER IK27

Denso Iridium Long Life

Tony, thanks for posting this. As I mentioned on fb, we should probably expand this thread and update/combine the older spark plug reference threads.
Any takers out there to do some research?
