I've always wondered what it would be like to go back in time to 2003 and see my car brand new in the showroom. The one thing I always fantasize about is a brand new steering wheel because of how the red stitch would pop out amongst the grey and black dashboard. I did some research and found out that I have everything I need to bring back the bright red stitch! SO lets dive right into it!

MATERIALS:http://i58.tinypic.com/2r2yyqr.jpg
1 soft bristle tooth brush
Some form of carpet cleaner
A microfiber (terry cloth works too)
Some paper towels
Water

Procedure:

1. Dip toothbrush into water and then squirt with some carpet cleaner over the paper towel
2. One section at a time, massage the carpet cleaner into the stitch going front to back to the top and then back down
3. Let sit for about 5 seconds and then wipe away with the cloth
4. Repeat this process around the wheel. I found it helpful to rotate the steering wheel so i was always working on the bottom
5. After you're done, wet the tooth brush with some clean water and then scrub the remaining cleaner out of the entire stitch and dry with the terry cloth

You'll go from dirty to clean!

BONUS: if you have a dirty shift knob, scrub out the lettering with the tooth brush. mint!!!!
