3rd and 4th gear issue

Lately I've noticed it has gotten hard to get into 3rd and 4th gear. There is no grinding, but you need to be patient and use some pressure before it will go into gear. It's fine when cold, but after a half mile or so begins. Also, I only notice the problem when upshifting. Downshifts are still smooth. I changed the transmission fluid with fresh Honda MTF and no difference. Clutch fluid is at an appropriate level with no leaks. I am wondering if this is a sign of a bad pressure plate and clutch that is starting to go? Any other ideas?

I had a similar problem in one of my cars i used to own (not an ep3). initially i had trouble trying to get it into 2nd and after awhile it would grind sometimes when putting it into 2nd. I bought a clutch kit and had it replaced and the problem went away.
