i wnated to know if the k20z3 would work with our tranny and if so what would be needed to make it work. i was considering this instead of getting an aftermarket one like quaif or wavetec

if you're going through all that work to take the z3 lsd out and put in a3 trans why not just swap the whole unit over

no it wont bolt on the z3 has different mounts and bolt patterns you can however swap the internals into your a3 case

why not try an Mfactory LSD...that's what i'm using in my 5 spd...works great!
