What are you doing to your EP3 this year?



Recently I have done a 2006 K24A2 swap, RBC, 70mm HR TB, TODA RH/Catback, DC5-S 6speed w/WaveTrac, bunch of suspension upgrades.

Now its time to put on a new front end and wheels.

So this year my EP has been sitting on the sideline. I drove it earlier in the year and my old Revhard down pipe keeps cracking. Im overdue for an update and I bought Martin's (Monjarassi) old turbo kit back in 2012 but never installed it. So at the moment, im saving up just a little bit to buy a new turbo to put on his old ram horn manifold. Surprizingly, the turbonetics t3/t4 that came with the revhard kit is still going strong...its just the downpipe thats been the limiting factor on the kit. I had that baby rewelded 3 times since 2008 already. So in all below are the plans as of right now for 2017.

Refresh/update turbo kit
New Turbo - Garrett T3/T4e 50 trim .63 ar
get rims repainted and resurfaced..has minor curb rash
replace brake pads
add greddy boost controller
Get a new tune

Im going to post the build next month when I start it. It's game time baby 2017 bout to be a good year!

How do you like K24A2 swap with all those goodies compared to your old k20a3?

The guy I sold my EP to will be rehabbing it and taking it to car shows. I think it's got a good future.

I'm doing a Morimoto xb35 5500 k HID retrofit using TSX projectors with TSX R lenses. Got fed up with the crappy Depo projectors. H1 bulbs keep burning out. I'd like to get an a spec or Mugen SS suspension, but I'm still debating on which to go with for DD use. I never go to the track although I wish I could.

Oh I forgot to mention. I plan on fabbing up some replica ep3 fog light bezels to fit the 70mm Morimoto XB LED fog lights.

Hey at least we know people are out there on this site again...
planning on upgrading complete suspension for stock to adjustable coil overs. My ep is pretty stock all around.
