Can't afford kpro. Ep3 k20a swap ecu

I have the stock k20a3 in my 2003 ep3. I cannot get rid of p0171. I have jdm ecu that came with the k20a engine and was wondering if it'll run better with the jdm ecu. 37820-pnc-905 are the numbers on the one I want to immobilize.

Your immobilizer will not work and engine will run poorly.

What do you recommend I do? I have a p0171 it's not going away. Should I just put the jdm ecu in since it came with the engine?

jdm ecu will need to be matched with your key or the immobilizer will stop you from starting up the car. why not just run the stock ecu??
