View Full Version : Need a Brake Kit will fit 17" OEM Rim?? Stoptech or Wilwood?

Looking for a brake kit that will fit under the OEM 17" rims?

Stoptech and Wilwood have kits for the Ep3 but does anyone know 100% if they will fit under the OEM 17".

Any other kit recommendations?

Help is much appreciated

I've seen them on EP3 but never with stock wheels, though Wilwood does say that they fit even on 15" for the four pot versions at least. I doubt that the 6 piston versions would. Wilwood has a diagram of all dimensions so just measure your clearance.

Here in the US, there are no stock 17" rims, so probably not much to go on for fitting on your stock 17's.

The RSX Type-S front calipers/rotors do fit, if you want to do a cheapo upgrade over stock.

I bought a set of the 17" JDM Rims and ordered the Wilwood 4 pistion caliper kit with Stoptech cryo slotted rotors, Dc5 rear caliper, Goodridge lines.
Looking forward to getting everything installed asap

Installed last Fall the 6 piston Wilwood!
They're fantastic and 6lbs lighter per side then OEM brakes. Very progressive braking due to the proportionally sized pistons, larger at entry and smaller at exit. You MUST order the Wilwood SS brake lines, unless you want to use a fitting.
