Left Rear.
This kit was really easy to use, and the results were fantastic!
Way better than spray paint, I recommend it!

Looks great. I guess I have a weekend project. Where can I get the product you used?

I'm not sure where you can get Folia Tec, but I bought it at a regular performance shop. I've seen ads for it in Sport Compact Car magazines. It is a two part paint and hardner system that brushes on. It costs about +/- $30, but it does the best job.

I hope this pic is good enough.

Mechanic,
Here is a link I found to a place in GA. I didn't buy mine there, but at least you can see the product.

is this really hard to do because i talked to my shop and they said they would charge me 100$$ to do it? Is that to much? and can i do it myself? how long does this take? any info will be helpful thank you.

$100 bucks! Holy F*CK!!!!!
It is pretty easy:

1 Loosen your lug nuts.(don't take them off.)

2 Jack up vehicle and place it on Jack Stands with the wheel off of the ground. Don't rely on using just the jack, make sure you use a jackstand, and ensure it is placed properly before removing the wheels!

3 Remove lug nuts and wheel.

4 Clean Calipers with spray brake cleaner and let dry.

5 Be careful painting caliper so you don't get any on the bleeder screw threads, pads, brake hose or rotors. (If you do you will have to replace your pads.) You can also remove the caliper from its mount and suspend it from the coil springs with wire, to paint.

6 Let dry 2 hours ( dry to the touch,) then put wheels back on and lower vehicle. Retorque lug nuts.

7 I waited overnight to drive my car again to give the paint time to harden.

You dont have to get the Folia tec kit, but it is the best. It includes all instructions, spray brake cleaner and paint.
I bought model paintbrushes, and used a baby food jar (glass) to mix the paint.
You can use high-heat spraypaint, but to get best results spray the paint into a jar, and brush it on with a model paintbrush.
I have 4 jackstands, so I did all 4 wheels at once, to save time.

This link didn't work for me. I bought the kit from http://www.extremeredline.com/brake/foliatec_brake_caliper_paint_kit.htm
I had first saw it at 34.95, and they had changed the price. I emailed them and they gave me the 34.95 price plus shipping.
I checked around town and no one around town carried it.

Thanks for the info Dr PIMP :)

i want to paint mine ,but it didnt seem worth it if i had to do all that.

so did u just mask the surronding areas with paper

and leave the caliper on ?

The caliper is the big ugly thing with the brake pads in it.

The Caliper squeezes the pads against the rotor (picture , putting 2 of your fingers around the edge of a plate)

BTW, the reason to paint them red instead of leave them rusty and ugly, is to mimic the factory caliper color on many sports cars.

But for really.. here is a pic of my painted calipers...

I know it's not right up on the wheel.. but it's almost 3 AM for me, so here is what I've got.... hope it helps. I spent $4 on a can of brake caliper paint, and it was simple.
