Hello,
Do not waste your time with a front strut brace that does not attach to the firewall. You probally will not notice a difference in performance with one that goes straight across (tower to tower).
If you are looking for something that will work well, you might want to check out the D3 front brace. We should have it out in a few weeks, and the performance is unreal. Our EP3 handles like a Go Kart!
Let us know if you have any other questions.
Thank you,

Hello Chet,
When we are ready to release this product we will do a special GB for it! Since this is the best FSTB on the market we feel it is important for everyone to have one!
Thank you,

any prbs. or difficulties with the install? or is it pretty simple?

Very simple! The mounting points are already there. There is no drilling or welding. This can be installed in about 10 minutes. No problems, no interferance with any other components in the engine bay.
Thank you,

The Dr. Design is a great looking bar, but as I have said before, it is not legal in most SCCA autocross classes.

So if you plan to autox in stock, STS, Street Prep, or Street Mod, this bar will not be legal for any of them. This is because it attaches the strut towers to the firewall.

The other bars that attach just the strut towers to each other are perfectly legal in all classes besides stock.

If you don't plan on autocrossing, then it doesn't really matter which you get.

At this time we have an estimated price of around $200. This is still not certain, since the final production has not been run yet. We will let you know when we have it availible for retail sale.
Thank you,
