i have the yokahama avid t4's. they're better than stock imo, but not high performance tires either. the parada spec 2s are more in that level. Nitto 555's are good, my bro has em on his ride:)

I would like the nitto's 555's but I heard those tires are not good in the rain!..I don't want them low profile either.

I htink you mean falken.

and the only falken tire worth a damn is the azenis. all the rest of their tires are trash.

sumitomo is a good budget tire as well.

I'm gonna go with the bridgestone pole position s-03 in 205/55/15.

I had AVid H4's before (same tread pattern just slightly stiffer construction than t-4s) and I loved them.

Not the stickiest tire ever, but very very quiet on the HWY and decent in wet, very cheap as well.

Only thing is, I have never experienced a Yoko that lasted as long as they tell you.

BTW

Check out the new AVS ES 100 (tirerack.com) supposed to be a wonderful all around tire(except snow)

Seriously, the best tire I have ever driven on was the Dunlop Sp9000, this tire is seriously agressive. It runs about $145- for a 205/55/15Z. I replaced my stock Michelin MXV4's from my old '91 LS Integra with the Duns and can admit to beiing able to safely drive the car spiritedly, while raining! the tire lasts forever to boot!

I'm curently running a set of Toyo 205/55/15 Proxies. Got all four installed for less than $500.00. Just sold my stock rocks for $200.00. Not bad considering......... Be prepared to get your car re-aligned, mine pulls hard to the right. Just tilt the steering wheel a little to the left when driving and you're okay, J/K. Overall the tires aren't bad.

Keep in mind you get what you pay for.
The tires are definitely better than stock
but there're a 30,000 mile street tire.
The launch is better but not great, still wheel hoppin'
If you're looking for extreme grip you'll spend close to a grand.
The downside to that is the tires will only last 15,000 miles if your're lucky.

I picked up a set of Yokohama AVS ES100's, damn good tire for all around daily driving performance. Good grip, quiet, good ride, treadwear is 280 , dunno how long they will last but should be decent.

I got the stock size 195/60-15, but these tires have good deal wider contact patch with the road , they seem plenty wide compared to the stock ones. Good grip and stiffer sidewall, I like em. For $68 a tire I doubt you can find anything that offers more than these.
