props to honda for getting back to the "true" roots of the si. This car has total exclusivity which i think is awesome, since Im completely surrounded in domestic garbage trying to look "import" in Michigan. I took a little hit on the lx trade, but 1.9 fin. for 60 months covered things up. This site is awesome, keep it up.

so how do you like the differences between the two Civics ?, I found it to be quite unlike any Honda I've had before the first time I drove one. I too like the exclusivity of this car, I hardly ever see any others on the road in my hometown.

the differences are night and day. This car is far superior in everyway. Originally I was looking at the rsx base, but to me it looks too much like the civic coupes. I also like the attention this car gets... Ive already had 4 people comment about it at a restaurant, pistons game & gas station. (kinda cool)

15400 with mud guards, mats & the extended warr. they only gave me 8800 for the 01 lx with 56,000 miles on it. Bad part was i still owed 12000. So add the neg. equity & i paid almost 19. But i did get some extras & with the 1.9 fianancing, i pay about the same.

just picked up my 2002 black ep3 yesterday. paid $15 000, (almost $16K with tax, title, registration) with genhis's cd changer certificate, and got floor mats.
I have to agree, this Si is night and day from my 99 coupe Ex. i do wish it had a center console or at least an arm rest though.

ok here is the scoop. I got all the dealers from hondacars.com and e-mailed them asking for the info on the 2002 left overs. Also contacted costco referral program. I have to say, some of the dealers are blatantly stupid, or think i am stupid. I got one lecturing me on how wrong it was for me to put a dealer against other dealers. I simply said, I want to lowest price, since it is my money that are going to be spent. One offered $500 off the sticker, costco offered no haggle price of $16 200.
Anyway, got first offer from Fair Honda in Danbury, it was $15,500. Then D&C in Tenafly, NJ replyed and said that they would beat it, but they did not have the black, only silver and white. Their offer was $15 000, but they would not honor a cd-changer certificate with someone else's name on it. Then White plains honda called up and offered $15 000 as well, and would install a changer, but not honda. they offered and aftermarket changer. I took their offer back to Fair Honda and they matched it.
I bought the last 2002 from Fair Honda. but the other dealers still have theirs, i assume.
Here the contact persons:
D&C in Tenafly: get the number from hondacars.com and ask for Ruben.
White plains honda: same thing get the number from Hondacars.com and ask for Donna.
Word of caution though, white plains honda is owned by paragon honda, and they are not 100% honest, so watch out for the "mandatory" service contract/extended warranty to qualify for 1.9% They also mentioned something about "getting me into 2003 TODAY for $15 800, but i didn;t believe them. it is worth checking out though.
I bought my 99 civic coupe form D&C back in 99. Back then, they gave me no hassles in getting approved. Mind it, i just graduated form college and had limited credit history. (Credit card bills :eek: )

wow i think u got a good deal on the si since it includes all thsoe options but i dont know about the price they gave u on LX.
but i think u made the right move :D

I bet I am the youngest! Just turned 16, got my Si a month ago. Can anyone beat that? I didnt think so... :D I can't wait to get my license. I can just feel her torque begging to be unleashed... Wednesday is my day! Hopefully I pass the test...
