does anyone know how much negative camber our cars come stock with for the front and the rear? and also if it is a good tradeoff for handling/tirewear? i mean if i lowered my car and got camber kits, how many negative degrees should i set my front and rears to have good handling but also not have that much accelerated tire wear?

hmm, not sure but I think ours car come with -1 degree all around as stock. I guess it would be good to have -1.5 up front and -1 in the rear for daily driving, or -2 up front for spirited driving;)

it's in your manual...I'm at work right now, so I can't run out and check, but I'm sure that the front is at 0 and the rear has a certain range for stock that it states

I'm asssuming this is the rear camber since the front does not change when lowered.

It's only bad if you don't like bad tire wear. Personaly I would not go that low. -1 to -2 would be better, but it all depends on what you do with your car.

correct. It's the way the suspension is designed in the front.

So if you're going to ask, why get a camber for the front....some people want some negative up front

correct. It's the way the suspension is designed in the front.

I just got through lowering my car 2", and when I was done I had about 2.5 degrees of negative camber on both the front and the rear. I had to get an Ingalls camber kit to get them dialed back closer to 0 degrees.

I'm not trying to be difficult here, I'm just saying from my experience the front camber does go negative when you lower the vehicle.

whoa! on your ep huh!? Well, I stand corrected then...I've been told by countless people here and at honda that the front wouldn't change. Thanks for the update!

There is camber wear on my front tires, which means that there is negative camber in the front. I'm on neuspeed race by the way.

Yah I was thinking of EP3Guy's car when I questioned that "no change" statement.)

Maybe if you use Progress springs (which 02Silver has) and only lower it 1.5-1.8" vs. 2" you won't have a camber problem... anyone?

Quicksilver, which springs did you get?

the camber up front does change, it's just not as drastic. When I went for an alignment with my Race springs, front was about -1.4 and rear was -2.3
