The exhaust sounds great. I didn't want to spend over 500.00 dollars on my exhaust right now, so when I started reading about custom midpipes on this site. It made me understand that for about 350.00 dollars I could have just about the same thing as a cat-back exhaust. 2.25 directly connected to the muffler no resonator.

When I first bought the car I thought that I could leave it alone for the first three years, but the car was just to quiet. So I decided on an intake. Picked the short ram for time reasons and wasn't disapointed. After putting it on and taking it for a spin, I could feel a difference. The sound was great too. The bad thing was the fuel economy went down. After installing the exhaust, I had some problems with it being to close to the rear sway bar, got that fixed where the muffler was to close to the bumper and melted a piece off. That pissed me off, but it was my fault for not being more careful with choosing a better place to do it. Surprisingly the gas milege went up after the exhaust was installed.

I wish it was, can't offerd that. Only a $300 suit :( Wish I could get the $1000 or more, those are very nice. Thanks, I got rid of the custom cause it was welded incorrectly (hanger won't welded correctly either). Cost me a part of my rear bumper cause it sat to close and melted it off. And cause of the hanger issue, it moved like crazy and hit the rear sway when you turned it off. So I got tired of the mistake I made (not the idea of the custom set-up just who I took it to). Also there was a great deal on the HKS that I have now, didn't feel that I wanted to miss out on that.

Also I have Aluminum Shifter Bushings :cool:

Thanks, both wing and hood are great. And easy to install too. Thanks about the suspended license, yet I got it back last week on thursday :D Six months was very hard, had to take two quaters off from school and quit my second job. Luckily I have a few good friends who let me roll with them :) I hear ya on not being able to drive, lessen learned.

Yep your right (you already know that though). I did not weigh the hood, yet even though our stock hood is lighter than others. I needed both hands to hold it. This VIS hood only needed one :D

Thanks, the pin strips will go down the road. So will the mud flaps, yet the painting idea will be kept in mind :) I do need to get some rims.

Yeah no problem, the hood already has a clear coat on it. Just have to maintain it so it doesn't yellow. After washing I quickly dry, put a few coats of wax. Nothing to heavy and wipe off after each time, keeps her smooth :)

not sure about exact #'s, but I have the VIS CF oem style hood and they say it's about 18lbs lighter than stock. I could pick it up and hold it over my head with one hand, so I guess it's pretty light.

I ended up trading my hood for oem wheels with new tires, and using those in the deal with the Rota's.

Happy to get rid of the hood, looking forward to another kind of style. Maybe Monster or OEM style :)
