I know it's not alot of $$$$ but if you had 1500 and a stock Si what would you get first? I'm leaning towards rims and tires, intake and last exhaust if I got any left over.

fitteeeeen hunnen dollla!!

in priority order :

1. Hondata K20A3 reflash 600
2. AEM CAI 220
3. 2 1/4 midpipe replacement - 150 ish?
4. HP Header - under 2 if u look
5. rims/tires - 900 if u want scratch 2/3/4 and go for traction+unsprung weight or looks, depending on size
6. Springs / basic handling mods
7. Motor mounts

Those would probably be mod list if i had some money.Get the power first, then the traction. But then again, for all of that if you look you could find an A2....but anyway back to college apps...if im not in austin by this time in 3/4 a year im going to cry :(

1st: hondata (about 650 after shipping, etc.)]
2nd: Hondata manifold gasket (about 60 at the most)
3rd: Injen CAI (about 193 at www.nopionline.com)
4th: HP Header (go to www.nopionline.com for it...about 189 I believe)
5th: 2.25" Mendrel Bent mid pipe (about 130, depends on where you live..also, wait on this one...for myeverlovinsir's dyno with hondata)
6th: Bore out your TB to 64mm (not sure of the price, I'll just say 150?)
7th:Progress springs (about 150 from www.optauto.com)

I put you over 22 bucks, but I'm sure you can come up with the rest. Wait a while for rims/tires...they're new, throw them around for a while :D

I just sold my old car I had and had about a grand to spend...

1st thing I bought was the AEM CAI and Greddy Evo from showstoppers $709 shipped...picked up the JDM red Badges, moon roof deflector and mud flaps. In the process of getting a quote on the spoon header.

Tax return time will take car of the suspension...

anyone have an idea what struts, preferably adjustables are comin out in the spring?

Hold out on the Hondata, their flash now doesnt show any gains with CAI and header. Would be surprised if they didnt release an update to solve that.

I'd get springs, Hondata reflash, and sticky rubber first.

$1500? I'd get started on audio stuff.

Then again, I'm a tuba player, so I gotta have quality bass before anything else.. hehe

Thanks guys for all your input. I think I might go with CAI, exhaust, springs, rims and tires. The Hondata in my opinion isn't worth my money. You do get a big gain in hp and torque, but only after your beating the hell out the engine taking it up to over 6000 rpms. I don't plan on racing.....well maybe on here and there if they ask for it, but besides that I'll just be cruising. Thanks again.
