did you try to remove as much from your car as possible? ie spare, jack, lower tire pressure, 1/4 gas, etc..

2744 on a hatch is killer man... :(

What RPM do you launch at? Did you heat the tires? Is your car lowered? How much gas did you have in the tank and mostly important, do you yahoo?

None of that stuff should matter. Stock weight, stock tire pressure and everything the car should at least be able to pull a 15.8 or so. I ran a 15.7 completely stock. Everything spare tire, jack, same tire pressure. EVERYTHING. These cars are capable of running 15's straight from the dealership. Something was wrong with the track or your driving. (no offence)

Were you using regular gas?

sounds like a first time track experience to me. Dont worry man, it takes practice at the track, even if you decent with a 5-speed on the street. make sure your shift points are consistant. Launching has alot to do with how your final times are going to end up, and it's also of course where most people screw up. It takes practice to launch your car properly. Once you learn it though, you'll be getting closer to the car's capability, which is certainly in the 15's. Good luck.

Well, stock EPs run 16.1-16.4 down here in the summer heat in the desert.I ran a 16.2 at a blazing  85 MPH.....But the track surface was 136 degrees.I dont see why it shouldnt be able to hit high 15s in cooler weather though.

Hehehehe.....Just work on that launch brotha. Maybe if you go fast enough it'll peel some of that black paint off your rims. Just kidding. :p

that scares me! I better be in the damn mid 15's. I got rid of my 14 second civic for this. Then again, it was s/c'd. Man, oh well I guess. It seems Honda is concentrating mainly on more efficient cars now.

If I boost again...it'll be turbo...not JRSC :D Did you ever see the post about my JRSC leaking that oil? I emailed JR and bitched them out. I know I'm a million to one case, but damn. I never had probs till I put that thing on
