Hey guys and gals, just traded in my ITR for a 2002 Silver SI. I know I could of sold it more for what I got, however, I didnt want to go thru all the BS in selling a car. Plus I needed to figure something out now for financial reasons. I had fun in the R, and I will have fun in the SI. Just have to wait awhile before any mods!!:p

Congrats on the new ride.
I was thinking of getting a used ITR, but ended up with my new EP. Not a big fan of buying used.

I won't be surprise... I have driven the ITR before I brought my EP. The structure rigidility of the ITR sucks... No matter how good it handles, but every little bumps make the car shakes badly...

Welcome to the EP club... I am sure you will love the car even more as time flies...

Thanks guys for your support. The SI is really a nice car and I look forward to upgrading, hehe!! I probably will work on suspension, wheels and exhuast before I turn to the motor.

I did everything I wanted to do in the R, now I will do it again in the SI!!

Well maybe, it all depends on the Benjamins. Right now I have alot of Washingtons!!

actually no he wont regret it. This guy loves to go road racing and with upgraded suspension with the very rigid si, it could actually be a better vehicle for him if he plans to continue that venture. I don't think he is intrested in straight line otherwise he wouldnt have bought the ep.

now i wont feel so inferior when we meet up! lol and i wont be the only silver :D

Derek = autocross/road race king which makes the ep right up his alley. Suspension and exhuast will be next for me too. It's gonna get wild. :)

So, now that you have had your EP for a bit, what are some things you notice (positive or negative) between your ITR and SI. Obviously your ITR is a faster car, but does the EP feel like it has more torque? does it feel more rigid? what are your thoughts regarding the two? ;)

Positive: Great platform for improving on
Feels like it has more torque
Not so abusive on the human body
Corners well for how high it is
Solid
Nice looks
ITR like seats
Not so many people out to steal the car

Negative: Not as fast as the ITR
Not as tight as the ITR
Not as aggressive as the ITR
Those damn headrests in the back(1st to go)
4 wheeln'

It is a huge change for me, however, I am really happy to have the SI. I want to build up a car and I bought the R for the R not to change it. So I quit while I was ahead to start over. A new challenge I guess you could say. Plus im saving money.
