View Full Version : Front license plate holder

By special request ( ;) ) here's how I modded my front license plate holder.

There are four screw holes on the holder. I cut the top half of the holder off just above the mounts leaving the bottom two screw holes left. I mounted the plate using those two screw holes, the top of the plate now mounts to the bottom two screw holes on the holder. The plate now sits flush with the upper part of the bumper opening.

Looks like it's about to scrape the ground in the last pic.....looks good, but would look even better without it on there:)

yeah, it is much better without it one there. But here in LA, if your car looks modded in anyway, cops seem to find ways of pulling you over for anything, and a non front plate will give them reason to.

Dammit, that's so simple, why didn't I think of that... lol

Does the relocated plate block the radiator opening enough to raise the engine temperature at all?

There's still pretty good airflow on either side of the plate, I doubt its going to block so much airflow that would cause the car to run warmer:)

heh, i got pulled over last night for no front L.P...
