Some times when im accling hard my motor feels like it id dieing almost like the clutch is slipping but its not any ideas?

i've noticed something similar as well. kind of a lag from when you floor the throttle to feeling the pull from the engine. I think it's b/c of the timing. The timing has to be gradually changed so as not to damage the internals of the motor. They can only shift the phase so quickly, resulting in a lag.

no but mine is like say you slowly walk up 1st till about 4k then hit it it pulls hard but is soounds look its almost sliping and a lilrev

Could this have any thing to do with detonation?
