Does anyone know if Centerline wheels are any good? I see them advertise in R&T all the time. They are super light, but does that mean that I'll be getting them repaired all the time on these crappy NE Ohio roads? Or does anyone have some other recommendations? My Si is Black.

Here is there site (http://www.centerlinewheels.com/w_catalog/fwd.html)

Thanks.

Centerline makes pretty good rims. Historically they have made only domestic car and truck wheels but now they're jumping into the import market. They have a good rep. with most hot rodders.
As far as their import wheels go, I don't see any reason why they would not be o.k. I assume you're refering to their RPM model; I think it's around 13.5 lbs. for 17" and about $290.00 per rim.

Velox just came out with a new wheel series called Pro Gear. The PG-5s model is only 12.5 lbs. for 17". Looks pretty good too. Don't know how much they want for them.

The Velox PG-5s are $475.00 per rim retail. Ouch!! You can probably find them for less, but it's still gonna hurt!!

That is a bit much. I think I'll pass on the Velox.

Thanks.
