ok guys, I live in the Los Angeles area and was wondering if anybody could teach me how to install springs on my car. I found a place that would do the install for 65$, but I wont learn anything. So if anybody feels like giving a helping hand it would be awsome.

I will pay you if you want me too, all I am trying to do is install some sportlines and gain some "how-to" knowledge. Thanks in advance guys!!

sup guy, where in ktown do u live? just make u got the right tools.. power tools would be NICE. but not necessary. jacks, spring compressor would be nice, if u're lucky ur ball joint will pop out easily and u need someone to hold ur rotor in place so the axle doesn't pop out the cv boot.

All I have are:

3/8 Socket Set short and long.
wrench set
ramps
basic hand tools

is this enough?

Suk02Si, is there a specific place I need to do this? How long do you think it would take?

it can be done anywhere, as long as it's a flat surface:D

maybe next time hatch boi is in town we can all meet up. I can also drag 95 gsr, speedracer, and blackjdmep along to hang out.

If I had a big house I would invite all of you to help me out and grub, but I live in crappy apartment with a manager that complains about working in the garage. Is there a garage or something I can rent for the day? My options are pretty limited, so any suggestions would be great. Oh yeah, how much time do you guys think it would take to install springs?

That helps a lot and I read it almost everyday. Honestly, I am asking for help because I am not sure if I can get it done. Maybe I need a little more confidence, but for my first time I would like somebody who knows what they are doing to be there helping me. Like I noted before, to get springs installed they were asking for 60 dollars, but I will pay more for any reason if I could learn a few things.

when is best for you, during the week, friday night? I can ask a few friends, someone should be able to lend me their garage for a few hours.
