Well, I've put 150 miles on it in the 24 hours I've had it and here
are some of my first impressions:

+ Great seats / steering wheel / gearshift -
good driving position.
+ clutch travel is short and light - I'm guessing it would be easy
to teach someone to drive stick on this car. Even easier that
most Hondas.
+ engine power at low rpms - no need to downshift in many
situations.
+ moonroof is much quieter than the one in my brother's Pro5. I
was expecting to have to pick up an aftermarket deflector but
now I may leave it as-is.
+ The natural air-flow over the car seems to help prevent bug-
splats. I drove through some pretty bug-infested rural areas
last night and when I got home, there was little to clean up.
This may just be a coincidence - will be interesting to see if this
continues.

+/- Gearbox slightly notchy - will loosen up in time. Engine still a
little tight (demo model seemed much more responsive) can't
wait til the engine's broken in.

- Seat belts...in my Civic sedan, the buckle hangs right at the left
shoulder. They're easy to put on while driving. In the Si, I really
can't reach the buckle with my back against the seat-back. I
really need to turn around in the seat to reach them. (just a
note... I don't sit with the seat all the way back...I'm probably 2-
3 notches forward). Really just an issue of the large doors and
hatchback design.
- Radio - I haven't really experimented with the bass/treble or
fade settings, but I don't get the full stereo sound-field i got in
my sedan. The front speakers dominate any sound coming from
the rear. Is this a speaker problem or a placement problem? I
know the speakers are below the back seat armrests and right
above the seat cushion - the seats aren't folded so they're not
blocked.
- window switches are a little too far back and behind the pull
handle for the door. It's slightly awkward to reach them.
- Paint on frame rail just under door sill. When I first saw this rail
when shopping the car, the paint finish was sorta bumpy which
kinda turned me off. When I checked over the car after getting
home, I saw a chunk of paint peeling off the rail and the
exposed rail had a black corrosion-protected finish underneath.
Nice to know the rail is somewhat protected from rust, sucks to
know the paint may not adhere to the rail and flake off over
time (especially on a white car). Will discuss this with my service
advisor at my first service.

I'll post some pics when I get a chance to pose it in front of something interesting (you've all seen a stock white Si).
