SouthHonda

I am posting the info here for everyone. Should be okay since I am not competing directly with any other vendor.

Pricing on the wheels is as follows.
16x7 4 lug made by Enkei Honda Civic FP Wheels

Honda List Cost: $238.00 each
South Honda Suggested Retail: $225.00
EpHatch Special Pricing of $200.00 each $800 per set. Shipping is included
in the price

If we get more people invovled and I can score more sets of wheels then I
may be able to drop the price 10% or so.

Tires I can do on an individual basis.
205/50/16 would be the ideal size. Email me or call me(Not PM) for Quotes on tires. Dunlop, Falken, Toyo, Pirelli, and Goodyear is what I can the best deals on but I can get pretty much anything.

g-rancing wheels makes a wheel that looks exactly the same as the "FP 16, 4 lugers". you can either get them in a 17 or 18 size. but i think its a heavy wheel. price for 18's with ires and lugs is 1425.60. i think thats to much for some giovanna wheels"

ill look for a picture and post it ;)

Scott,

Can you ship them north to Canada? I'm near Ottawa, Ontario, and am interested in these wheels. Let me know of any other costs, if any (hopefully not) involved in getting them to me.

Thanks,

Bill

Hey, if $290 (Can) per wheel is a rip off, where does everyone else get there wheels? I'm here in Canada and a decent set of rims is at LEAST $290 if not more a piece! I don't see why I wouldn't spend the same money for a factory rim that will have the proper offset and "stock" look. Up here, having that rim will make my car one of a kind. That and they look REALLY good!

I just called up Scott. I guess other people have called him now that I bumped up the post. He said originally they were releasing him the wheels, but then after he ordered them Honda backed out so he can't get any of these. He said that they might release them in late september, but thats just a rumor. He said the second he finds out that he can purchase them, he will post again on ephatch.com.

Sucks for me because I want them for summer wheels. I guess i'll have to look elsewhere for some sweet 16" wheels. Ideas anyone?

"I guess i'll have to look elsewhere for some sweet 16" wheels. Ideas anyone?" [Quote from Napapacoda]

Try Volk Racing TE37's in 15" or 16", a salesman told me they were 8lbs each!! He also quoted me $600 CD a piece!! OUCH!! I guess magazines get these cheaper or something because just about every project car you see has these.

I am actually looking into Weld Racing RaceLite R/S 17x7". They weigh in at 11.2lbs a piece, which constitutes an 8lb per wheel reduction over stock alloys or approximately 32lbs less rotating mass. Definately an improvement for accelleration. I have gotten my first quote back at $427 CD a piece. If you hear any better please let me know.

Yes, I know these are a lot more expensive, and lighter than the FP wheels in this thread, but if anyone knows of other lightweight, half decent looking wheels at a reasonable price, just post it.

15' te37 = 8lbs think the 16' are about 12...
..just need to find an ex w/the fp package and the fp wheels are yours...j/k ...hope they become obtainable soon..

Is it still considered stealing if we give them our stockers...

Anyway, I found a set of wheels that are really nice:

OZ Superleggera - 16" $340 CD / 17" $376 CD

You should be able to purchase them, what if you dent one rim? Don't tell me that you'll have to ride on your donut until September.

good point, if the dealership asks for a vin # just find a ex with the fp and use that info to order them

Pure Genius! Does anyone know if you need to have anything else besides a vin to order replacements? I'd just be afraid since they might realize the owners name is different than your name.

This is the response that I got for a similar question regarding the FP wheels.

Handa-accessories.com
Hi,

If that is the case and the FP package was installed under all the guidelines form Honda - that is, "installed by a dealership technician, and then registered with Honda at the time of the install", Then you would need to have your local dealer contact either their district parts manager or district service manager, who can then order the replacement wheel(s) for you. It's just that Honda will not sell them as accessories through normal ordering channels. The only reason we could figure is that they made just enough of them to be available for damage replacement or warranty claims, and not enough to put them on the market as an accessory.

imagine how muhc money they could have made if they offered a type-r "like" kit for our cars with suspension and boy kit wheels package at a REASONBABLE PRICE i/e 2000-3000 tops. not this 4000 for rims kit n a wing. jeebus Honda!

The closest thing I've seen to the CTR wheels is the Racing Sparco Tarmac (link to pic below). It comes 16", 17", 4x100, it's pretty light, and it's reasonably priced. I would have gotten this wheel, but I managed to find a set of FP wheels!:p
