Most likely it would have drain holes, just like the oem airbox has.
I've seen this intake before, and it might not work on left-hand drive ep's because the brake and/or clutch fluid reservoir would get in the way. Won't know if this is true until someone tries it.
Pretty cool though, you could drive your ep through a river with that intake:p
