Before I get hated for posting this again...I used the search and only found one vendor; options, selling them for $60...

Seems a little steep...wondering if anyone else has seen them sold anywhere else a little cheaper.

I personally haven't found them online for less than that. I got mine at a local shop for $65, the reason it is so much is because you are actually getting the entire harness from a JDM Integra Type R, worth it in my opinion. All I did was swap out the amber housing for my clear housing so now I have something to sell to all the US boys who want clear side markers for the RSX ;)

I was under the impression that it was just housing or even just the lens...$60 isnt a bad price for the whole setup.

The question is, do you NEED the whole set up? Why do you get a new harness if you don't need to use it? (Or is that how Honda is doing it?)

Well, I was thinking the same thing and searched, and searched, and drove to most of the import shops here and was unable to find them any other way. Nice thing of course is that it is an genuine Honda part, so the quality is there. Not too mention that the shape of the side marker is identical to ours. I agree, it is odd that it is sold that way, but like I said, shouldn't be too hard to find some kid wanting clear side markers from Honda for his RSX.

I got the same question. Do we need a new harness and wiring if I want to change to a ITR sidemarker?

We do not replace our harness to put amber sidemarkers (DC5r). Buy them from ebay. 40 shipped.

I don't see the big deal, they still blink yellow.....

I kinda like having them clear, less of a clash on a blue car.

Actually, they blink orange, and they don't clash at all.

I stand corrected, they are very nice on blue.

LED parking lights would be nice too, and I thought they we're stupid untill I put my silverstars in and realized how yellow the parking light bulbs looked.

about the fitament, the shape of each and what all comes ( OEM harness etc..) when you buy them. just a visual reference w/o the whole car invloved. I don't know where to get them for cheap though.

Much ado about nothing. They're a direct replacement for the existing turn signals. You don't need additional wiring, just remove the clear ones, swap the bulb into the new ones and pop them in. You can get them cheap on Ebay:

the si's are about $10 each at the dealer... try the acura dealer - they probably cost the same...

San Leandro Honda Parts (http://www.slhondaparts.com/browse.asp?Model=CIVIC&Year=2002&TrimLevel=3DR+SI&TransLevel=5MTKA&Section=E&Category=B++08++%7CHEADLIGHT&Doors=3&Emissions=KA&PartCatalogId=13S5S0&IRefNo=015&PartNoSelected=34301-S5H-T02) (reference #15)

edit: wait... that won't work - us rsx's don't have em'... sorry! the acuracarland (http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org/acura/jsp/mws/catdisplay.jsp?inputstate=4&catcgry1=RSX&catcgry2=2003&catcgry3=3DR+TYPE-S&catcgry4=KA6MT&catcgry5=) has an online parts list... maybe helpful for something else.
