For those of you with STB from Ebay:

How many of you cut the two plastic pieces to fit over the bar? For you guys that cut the two plastic pieces, do you have pics on showing how you made the cut?

For those of you with Mr. Alex or J's Racing:
does the plastic pieces still fit over the ends or you would need to cut it too? For you guys that cut the two plastic pieces, do you have pics on showing how you made the cut?

Thanks in Advances

Paul

I would recommend you don't cut your plastic pieces. Take them off and put them in storage like Steve did. I regret cutting mine because it just looks rough. I'm sure people on here did a good job of it, but it just bothers me that I cut my car up like that.

Plus I farked up one of them by cutting it the wrong way and had to do a Chris Farley routine (WHAT AN IDIOT, GOD, SO STUPID!!!!) in the middle of the street while about 20 people watch. :o

i wanted to cut it, but i got lazy. i am glad i never got around to it though because if i wanted a different one then i'd have to cut that again and what if i had to cut it somewhere else, you know what i mean? i am not gonna have the ebay bar back there forever. once i settle on one, then i might cut it.

I'll most likely be getting the DC titanium model to replace mine as well and I'll keep the covers off still. I don't like cutting up the car.

heres some pics of mine....hope it can give you an idea. If you decide to cut use a dremel it goes a lil faster and you can get smoother cuts.

I'm guessing it was from running around in the canyons. When I went to uninstall my Neuspeed springs, I noticed how tough it was to remove the rear strut. I pulled it off and noticed the mounts were tweaked and the cheesy aluminum bar wasn't perfectly straight anymore.
