armrest for Insight from Husco (http://www.husco.com/cgi-bin/ePages4.filereader?0+EN/products/125682&2D1012566) I'm not familar with the Insight interior but I am sure someone here probably is.
Do you think an armrest for the Insight would work in the Si?http://www.husco.com/isroot/ePages4/Images/125682/hondainsight-pad&tray-fwd-1.jpg

I contacted Husco via email and below is the response I received

We have a Civic Si console on hand and have done some basic noodling on an armrest for this model. However, the lack of inquiries from owners has prompted us to stop all work until a clearer market interest occurs. If you are interested in something for your car we can develop one under our Custom program. All Custom models list at $105 + $6 UPS shipping in the U.S.

Email Husco if you are interested in one so they will see that there is demand for an armrest.

I am awaiting reply to my offer being a guinea pig for the Si arm rest.
here is part fo the responce
"If we have production parts, we will build a prototype for one owner who has the technical skills to provide useful feedback. The cost to him would be $60 + $6 UPS charge in the lower 48. If together we can develop something that is very satisfactory to him, we will agree to produce in batches of ten(10) minimum units for $86.00 each"

First, I neeed to know if people would be interested $86 armrest. we need 10 confirmed buyers. I will also, post on
www.edmunds.com
www.clubsi.com
www.civichatchback.com
www.7thgencivic.com
www.honda-tech.com
please spread the word around.

The guy looked at my car a few months back, said he was going to florida for a while. I have not heard from him.
I can defenately follow up in that. Seems like there is more interest than before. I will keep you updated.
