Oil gushing out of my car!

Yup, got my oil changed at honda a few days ago and today the large oil stain on my driveway made me look under the hood. The oil filter was gushing oil, oil all under my car and all over the undecariage. Went to lube shop where they put a new filter on (old filter's rubber seal was screwed up?? dont know why) and they filled it with new oil (was 1, 1/2 liters low) thank god i cought it early, only put on about 400km before i caught it. The old filter number was : S23431 is this the right filter? Word of advice to everyone, CHECK YOUR OIL EVERYTIME YOU FILL UP WITH GAS!!!!!!

Dang!, Thats why you change your OWN oil! That aint funny at all!

sounds like they double gasketed
the usual excuse for shops when that happens is "the gasket is messed up"
but really that is a human error - being ahonda tech i change oil daily

i learned my lesson about double gasket years ago - never done it again

on these new cars the original gasket tends to stick to block

be careful and aleays use OEM honda filter!
