Have aftermarket tweeters? Help a new guy out!

My first post! This site is awesome and has helped me choose the ep as my next car, so thank you all! I'll be getting an ep in 2 weeks, and i wanted to put a nice set of 6.5 components in the front, but the ones i want have a 1" tweeter and stocks are 1/2" if my search was right. Has anyone mounted a 1" tweeter in the factory location? I see in Paxie's install he did the 1/2". Please post your pics. Thanks!!!!!

I mounted my high end Alpine component speakers, SPX117A's, no problem. I took the factor pod, and popped the factor tweaters out, then mounted my Apline ones in its place. The factory grill had to be removed, it acts like a downsizer for the factory tweaters.

check out crutchfield.com, it'll show you exactly what speakers fit in the front and rear...I put my infinity reference tweeters in the front, only had to cut out the notches in the bracket for the factory grill...ill be installin the new clarion 835 deck this weekend along with amp and components in the back...gonna mount the amp under one of the front seats.
