The picture of the new First-Inc Buddy Club kit on the EP on the Garage-R website looks like the real buddy club kit and real buddy club CF-vented hood. The replica fiberglass kits are due to hit our shores in early March. I can get these kits for $650 as well if any of you are interested. I'm located in Socal and I can probably get my hands on a kit when they come out.

does anyone know what kind of rims it sitting on?

Those are the Buddy CLub P-1 wheels, which is why I believe that is First-inc or Superhightechnology's car.

Well I ordered the kit and wing. It is a replica kit that they mo;d after the real buddy club, so I geuss it's already hit our shores it was $625 for the kit and $350 for the wing! Altogether with shipping it was $1130...This company is the same as A.I.T. I should get it in about a week. I will keep you all up to date on how good there ship time, customer service (as I am picky and call alot if you tell me it will be a week and three weeks later it isn't here) the fitment, quality, etc... so check back in!~A.J.

Well for some reason I can't post as blaster so I am now temp! Anyway there web site sucks... but I got their kit I ordered it on Monday. Since noone knew anything about it I just bought it I will be the ginnia pig! I got the kit last friday so it got all the way across the U.S. in like 4 days! I looked at it and the onlt thing I can tell is wrong with it is that on the front bumper were it meets the right fender is circled at like a 90* angle and our car rounds over to like a 135*angle if that makes any sense, but other than that the kit fits great! I should be getting the wing in today or tomorrow! And My body shop guy will put them all on and paint them in the next couple of days! I also Bought 18" Racing Hart CR 3 pc. rims, and an HKS exhaust, AEM CAI, and a whole bunch of other crap! I will keep you up to date on all of it! Just in case you were wondering were I got like $5000 I steel! J/k I am in the Army and just got back from Afghanistan so I have a little money saved up! Keep checking back in!~AJ .....P.S. If any of you know why I can't post as blaster anymore(i.e. mod) help me out cause I am a computer retard!

Yes The kit is made of fiberglass, my body shop guy lags so he has done nothing to my kit. I will post pics of it raw if I beat him to fixxing it and putting it on right tommorow morning. After some trouble with shipping garage-R got my wing to me, and it looks to me like it won't fit! I called the dude and he told me that it's made for the type R which has holes drilled in the rear windows??? so I have to take the bolts out And sand part of it down looks minor, but I fear that the bolts won't line up around the top and that will mean some crazy drillin as the inside of our hatch were the wing is, is crazy thick... I know that this really dosen't make sense with out seein it, so I will post pics soon... I will tell you this in closeing just holding this kit, and wing up to the car you can tell that this (or any kit for that matter) is exactly what our cars are missing!!!!!~Aj

DO NOT DRILL HOLES ON THE WINDOW!:p

Just cut that part out and bolt the top part on. Ya I tried that wing on my EP and thats what had to be done, cutting part of the wing out. A US spec wing should be released soon. Thanks

Check the post on the vendor sales section for pics of the kit!

No I didn't drill my window. I did just take out the bottom screws and sanded that lip down where they were. I got stuck all day at my bodyshop, and I didn't bring the camera cause I had to drop it off at like 5 this morning as I am tryin to make a deadline of tommorw morning. Due to me going to "Imports at the Rock" tommorow at Rockingham Motorspeedway. So sorry guys I won't have pictures off it in raw form(I suck) but Like I said I was stuck there all day. So he's painting it right now and should be done at 11p.m. and then I have to install my Aem Cai, HKS exhaust, Coilovers, and red valve cover, torasport red cf dash kit and leave for Rockingham( an hour drive) tommorow morning @ 6am! So I am going to be busy tonight!
As far as the kit, it is as best of a fitment as you can expect from a $650 Fiberglass kit. There is a small gap in both side skirts right behind the doors that need to be filled and other minor stuff like that... but Keep in mind that almost all Fiberglass kits have minor problems. And if you don't participate in your own body work you'll probably never even know it!
THE ONE MAJOR THING IS... in order to fit this kit you will have to remove your impact beems front and back (or at least I did) for this kit to fit.(Showstoppers correct me if I am wrong as you've probably put this kit on more times than I have) So if you hit or get hit by any thing going even 5MPH your car will most likely be totaled! But this is with most after market kits! ~AJ

It looks like Thermal Exaust will fit too so i wont worry.

HKS, thermal, greddy or any other exhaust will fit BUT you may have to relocate the hangers to make it fit perfect. The fogs are not included and that is the same exact kit we are selling. A company overseas makes the kit but we sell it :p We also ship to Sweden. Thanks guys!

chuck you said we have to modify the hanger a bit, but what exactly do i do, with the progress rear sway, my exhaust has a point contact with the bar????

temp
03-07-2003, 05:45 PM
Okay here is the real deal... It takes way more then an adjustment of your hangers! I have an HKS hi-power exhaust and the rear bumper cover WOULD NOT FIT! PERIOD! Not even with hanger modifications! I had to have the guy cut the whole rear section of the cat back expand part of it slide it over it's self then weld it together, and then it fit. But not with the rear mesh covering the whole thing, cause it pokes out so you have to cut the mesh. Even after major pipe modification it is still a tight fit.
This is just my experince and I am just giving you a heads up!
I will try and post pics as I have been very busy this last week!~AJ

The local one we did with the HKS told me that he had to adjust the hanger to the left in order for the slanted tip of the HKS to go through the Buddy rear bumper. It was a tight fit, I saw it but it did go through and he was able to do it. I will try to get exact instructions on that. Im not familiar with HKS and Rear sway. I would assume it may be the same adjustment but I dont exactly know. Did you get the kit yet? I will call all the people who called the buddy club kit with the HKS exhaust and see if they have the rear sways as well. I believe there are two others. Let me know if you have a problem with that rear/HKS/sway bar combo and we will try to get some answers for you on how to adjust with that there. I hope I made sense. Let me know. You get your kit yet?

Thanks

Yes I am still on stock springs and I am running 18" Racing Harts with Nitto NT-555's 225-40ZR-18.
I WILL SAY THIS AGAIN... If you can get that HKS in the kit without it hitting the spare tire compartment, the sway bar, the wishbone, or the kit, and not modify anthing but the hanger... they should put you in for sainthood cause you can work miracles brother! I am just telling you my expirence though. Maybe my car is different;) ~AJ

Also Chuck I called your place about a week ago and asked about a red emblem for my steering wheel, the dude told me he would call me back, but I haven't heard anything so If you could PM me thanks again!~AJ

Good to know..thnx for the pics..any chance you can email with details on the install..what youve experienced?? laim@insightbb.com Also now that its getting even colder the point contact from the hks and the progress rear sway is less...sine the pipes have contracted which is good, however, now it rattles every once in awhile :(
