Would you say the Falken Azenis wet-traction feels better, the same, worse, or much worse than the stock Michelins?

Just wondering how they compare in the wet.

i think the bad thing about them is that they wear so fast... my friend's itr with them. got them bald within a year... we were driving in the rain and we were waving back and forth in the lanes... he was holding the steering wheel so tightly.

Don't know if I already told you this dave, but I raced one event in the rain and standing water, and got the best handicap time of the event! I say the Azenis are better in the rain, partly because there is more tread on the ground, and because of the rubber compound being softer. That being said, I would not use them as a daily driver because of the wear rate.

Hmmm. I think the price/performance makes up for the wear rate. As long as they are at least as good as stock in the wet, I can live with a pair a year. If I got a set just for auto-x, I'd want to always have them on anyway...so now to find a place to put some on in Austin...
