woohoo got it in yesterday left work early to put in. On took about hour of work total. "much more pain in the ass my 90 si was " But well worth the time as im sure all you with intakes already know. Much more of a kick in second and third and great sound to i have had aem products before and i must say that i think dc sports is really cathing up to them with there intakes.
If any one wants pics i can take some .

ok no dyno tests or anything but seat of the pants feel indicates a good bumb in power quality was superb. Came with everything you needed deatailed instructions etc. my girlfriend has the car till 11 tonight but when she comes home i will try to get pics but if not tonight for sure tomoorow. The only downside of the intake is you cant really see it once its installed. It bends down and under the battery

I went with the DAC -- I believe its shorter than yours -- but good to hear the quality is up to snuff and the ol' butt dyno likes it ---

thanks for the update...

Hey jmexcur, can you measure the outside diameter of the piping? The DC site says it's 3". Post a pic if you can, I'm thinking of getting this one. Thanks!

i've seen that the dc sports cai adds about 17.9 hp and i think like 8 ft lb at the wheels and the aem cold air adds like 19.7 hp but like 6 ft lb of tq i can feel the difference and the sound is great i got mine at nopi.com for i think like 230.00

sorry to inform you but you are wrong on this one i have a mag with the rsx type s testing all of the most popular air intakes cold air and short ram and yet it did pull like 17 hp at the wheels. i will find the mag and post the title and month. i will even scan the page and post it just for you.

i ahve that mag too(SCC). ok... when u find ur mag, check out the baseline run for the RSX. They get 159whp out of a type S... thats just BS. Stock RSX-S puts out 170 to the wheels. they got 176 and campared it to the BS baseline run. So thats how they got 17 hp out of the DC intake, when they really got about 5-7 whp.

My friend (SUK02si) just dynoed his car(injen cai,) yesterday and gained 8whp... check out his tread in the dyno forum.
Just try not to believe everything u hear.:)

ok well mr gsr i don't have a friend that has had a car on the dyno so all i can go by is what the mags tell me right. and also that is the injen intake not the dc sports or the aem so until you explain your self don't jump down my throat. i had no idea you had someone that had been on the dyno. all i know is i noticed tremendous power gains when i put mine on i was getting a quiet bark on the 2-3 shift without nitrous and now i am getting a huge bark more like the one you get with a 1-2 shift in stock form. next time explain yourself before you jump on somebody. i stated that i got my info from a mag.

Come now, don't be a magazine racer! Just for example, Motor Trend does their speed tests starting downhill.

As far as the Nitro, did you do the install? Careful not to go too high, don't want to lose an EP!
