It could mean the lower trim level 3-door EP's (D series engine/turbo diesel) in Europe and/or elsewhere in the world. But don't quote me. correct me if I'm wrong but EU1 and EU2 are the 5 door EP's. Mugen sells a shift knob strictly for the EU1/2 dash mounted automatic/triptronic tranny.

My UK 1.6 VTEC (d16V1) is the EP2. Also I think all the I-VTEC's are EP3 as the have the engine reversed compared to non I-VTEC's.
I for one love all of the variations on our car in Europe(colors, trim levels,looks). I go to the Honda of Europe all the time to check out what is new or different.
