Is this a good thing or a bad thing.

Everyone has either an SUV or a mini-van (no stupid comments please) or a big fat slow sedan. I cant really speak for myself but assume this holds true for most people after a certain age.

Your statement is somewhat true, simply because as we get older we have more responsibilities and so on. However, for me, I'm 35 and having interest in cars is a hobby and keeps me young. Then again I have no kids yet, but I do have other things to spend money on (ie My house, I actually own 2 houses, and they keep my wallet thin). Luckily I rent 1 of the house and actually make a bit of money with it while it's getting paid off.

Regardless, I love cars but I have changed quite a bit since my first car, a 1987 CRX Si that I washed like 2-3 times a week. Now I wash my car every other week or so...:D

Well, let's just say that my first sports car was a 1958 Porsche Speedster. Paid $2200 for it. In addition to my job, I worked on that car at night in what used to be called a "foreign car garage" while I was going through undergraduate school in the late-60s.

I have to be the oldest guy here. Thus, it should be comforting to know that enthusiasm for neat cars never fades away. Also, I should add that the cost of the toys really isn't important in relation to the fun you can have.

I'm in the same boat. 22 turning 23 in Sept and it's all work then girl. All the time. Still chill with buddies on the weekends but I don't even feel like going out now most of the time. No complaints though. I use to go out and get drunk every single night. I had my fun and it's just a part of growing up I guess.
