Black 2K2 Si with "MD" plates

I saw him from afar on the west side hwy this morning and sped up to give him the 'ole thumbs up, because it was the first one I've seen on the road since I got mine.

As I get closer my wife yells "MD!!!". I didn't know what she meant untill I saw his plates. FREAKIN' "MD" plates (as in Doctor). We both start laughing our butts off. I pull up next to him and believe it or not it's this dude with gray hair and a tweed on (he musta been upper 40's). I give him the ole' thumbs up, but he kinda just looked at me like "what's your problem, mkay?".

I'm not saying it's bad, I'm just saying it's rare (and therefore amusing) to see a doctor dressed in a tweed, with graying hair, in Manhattan riding around in an Si of all things. Rather distinguished, I must say ;).

More power to him. I love people like that!
