Would you consider doing this for AutoX? I tried it out and drove around my block playing with late braking, three-wheelin' is funny:D I had 95 GSR drive behind me, he said my inside rear picked up about a foot off the ground. I figure this setup might work on very tight AutoX tracks with hairpins and other tight 180's. Besides that the car handles like crap:D

what do you have as a sway on the rear? How about springs?

This mod has been known to greatly increase oversteer on fwd car. It might be too much for you and the increased body roll might make things worse if you have stock springs. I think replacing the front sway with a smaller bar is a better idea than removing or disconnecting it.

stock springs and stock rear sway

I know it was going to induce oversteer, I wanted to see how the car was going to react to it. It seems okay for very tight turns, but for wider sweeping type of turns it sucks. I'm picking up my Type S front bar(23mm) tomorrow.

what's the size of our front sway?
Right now I've got progress springs, prog. rear sway, and a neuspeed front lower cross bar on order.. I didn't get the front prog. sway because I'd like more oversteer.

the type s bar is also hollow. . .weight savings? probablly negligible. I got one, waiting for progress rear, getting some springs and nice weather to do the swap. I think that i am going to do springs and progress rear first, see how i like that for a while then swap out the front. maybe for a fun run or something like that. . .

yeah, and the Progress front is 27mm. The Type-S is 23mm and unsure about CTR/ITR

Hmn, the type S bar sounds like a good idea. Where'd you get yours? Does it mount the same as our stock bar?
