i am looking at getting red recaro srd's. has anyone changed their seats? and will i need brackets?--Thanks

our seats look great. why change them? our seats match the car so well.

Our seats are nice but I am going to change them out soon too. I am going to get Sparco's so I can put the racing harness on them for autoX.

i am changing them for 2 reasons one my buddy really wants them so he is buying me my new seats and two i want to put in a rollcage with harnesses

i have USDM srd's, black with red stitching. i have the rails from a 7th gen coupe. the rails dont fit perfectly you have to modify them alttle bit. i changed my seats because my head was only 3/4" away from the roof and i didnt like that.

Are the Recaro's that come in the JDM CTR EPs the same SRD seats that have been in past integras and civics? It looks like the back of the seat is a bit different on the new CTR.

The seats in the new CTR's are recaro sport seats. Haven't seen any used ones for sale yet though.

no they are different the ones that comes in the CTR EPs are called RECARO sport seats

yea... the headrest part on the seats goes higher. looks very nice, i would sell mine and get those.

Arospeed is selling the set out of their Type R on Ebay. Bidding starts at $1500

I win!!!! I win!!!!!! Wooohooo! I just won the bidding for the JDM CTR Recaro's. Yet I'm now $1800.00 broker.:( It's ok cause when I get'em It'll all be worth it.:D :p

post pics as soon as they're in,
SIDE NOTE: I believe they come in BLUE too. I have seen a JDM DC5R with everything blue, not red, looked pretty nice.
