View Full Version : headlight adjustment
does anyone know how to adjust the headlights. i just bought some h.i.d.'s ,and they are shining up.
It's hard to describe, but look for the only 10mm bolt head on the back of the headlight housing under the hood. You'll need a short wrench or one hell of a swivel. It's easier to find the one on the driverside in front of the battery. Turn your headlights on and park in front of a wall (about 3-4 feet) while making small turns on the bolt head. You'll see the beam move slightly U or D.

Go to Home Depot or Sears and pick up one of those flexable bit extensions (12 incher...) I attached it to my cordless drill and it worked like a charm. This wil save you a lot of time and pain.
