I'm about to hit 600 miles. and damn does it feel a lot better. It feels like it's broken in now. I've been getting on it a little more and it feels sooooo much better. Way faster than before. Not to mention my gas mileage is already getting better

I noticed a dramatic increase in power as my mileage increased. I'm at a little over 7000km now, and I hope it keeps getting better! Although I doubt it will now.

:D wouldn't it be nice if our cars had no limits to getting faster :D

heh. this car will guzzle gas at WOT.

i managed to burn half a tank in one afternoon. :-D

but overall, i get just under 30mpg in mixed driving conditions, about what I got in my 6th gen si.

ouch. that's no good. how long have you been driving stick?

i found this tranny to be rather easy to shift from the factory. And it has the triple cone synchros, so you have to be a real hamfist to fuck those up.

i've got 5200 miles on my car, and it shifts smoother than any other honda I've ever driven.

You will notice a gas milage drop when installing a CAI. You engine has to use more gas since you are adding more air.

It will clear up, im at 7,500K and mine just started feeling like butter, i know what you mean, kinda crunches into gear, it will go away..something i did, i dont know if it help, for all i know it didnt do anything, but when sitting at a light, with you foot on the clutch, just switch gears sitting still, just make sure your in 1st when your ready to go....

I have, I went up to 7200 rpm... so much for that 6800 redline :D

I've already hit the rev limiter more times than I can count. It's hard breaking old habits.

i've hit the limiter many times.

i'm so used to the b16's fuel cut of 8200.

the timing is different.

on the b16, if you started shifting at 8000rpm, you'd just miss the fuel cut.

but on this car, if you start shifting at 6800, you end up missing the fuel cut by like 100rpm.

the actual fuel cut is supposedly like 7000rpm, your tach usually indicates 7100-7200rpm. but it's tricky to get the timing down.

Ive hit the rev limiter many times. I dont mean too but my last car i had, i had a shift light so i can keep forward and when the light hits shift, now i have to keep looking down till i get a feel for it.
