ok, the first is a little tidbit tht I noticed just recently. It just goes to show how far Honda will go to make things just a bit more "ergonomic". Not really sure if it helps all that much but it is pretty slick none the less.

note: it's the texture on the side of the button I am pointing out :D

this second picture is of something that I cannot for the life of me figure what it is, what it is for and can find no documentation on it either. You guys tell me...what the heck is it?!

What i used this for was a speaker location, for hands free use. It works perfect for the micro phone so when i drive i talk and not hold the god dam phone to my head.

Don't know what the three slots are for, but the texture is so you can find the right cruise control button without looking down at your steering wheel while driving, not for grip. It work kind of like braille.

I originally thought that the 3 slot thing was a coin holder of some sort...until I dropped a quarter in it and it disappeared in my car  I still have no clue what it is...

Correct....if you ever get a chance to look at the RSX manual the three slots and also the little hump on the top of the dash, towards the windshield is also a climate control sensor.

Why would we need a climate control sensor?

You put your weed in there.

Start the engine, and the car works as a giant bong...

Yeah, I noticed the climate control sensor the first time I got into the car only because the 6th gen Accord EXs have them... Why do the EPs have it though, does it have auto climate control in Europe and/or Japan?

It is for climate control. On the RSX, the thermostat is located behind there. I presume it could be an option that never panned out.

I would still have liked it to be a coin thing...

natesi

it would be hard to get coins from there. Wouldn't it it be awkward?

Damn--I'm hungry! I could really go for a burger right about now....

Will someone make me a burger please???

the RSX has temperature control for the interior cabin, so that may be the reason for a thermostat on the RSX, the Si does not have one. Unless the CTR comes with the electronic temp controls that the RSX has.
