JDM Dc-2 boot into an Ep3?

Probably a nooblet question, but will a jdm dc-2 boot fit into our ep3 with minor modification? I hate that damn accordian boot and I like the jdm dc-2 one looks. I tried a search but nothing regarding this topic came up. Can anyone help?

I got the JDM Civic Type-R boot, from options auto. It came with the rectangular metal piece for the older civic console, so I had to pry that off, but anyway, it looks GREAT! The black /with Red stich is soo much better than the dang "accordian" boot...well good luck on the install, if you do it !

Whats the difference between the 02 USDM rubber boot and the JDM rubber boot that options sells?

On the USDM the metal piece on the top is made to recieve the shift knob. The JDM shift boots metal piece is flat so you can install an aftermarket shift knob. Thats the only difference.
