I just recieved my neuspeed race springs!

However, I was concerned when I opened the box...

two of the springs looked normal, and two of them were HUGE!!

I mean, If you stand the springs up on the floor, all four were about the same height, the front ones "coiled diameter" was a little fatter than one arm, but the two for the rear were coiled fat enough to put, like, two arms and a leg through, like you could fit a small stock pot INSIDE the coil of those two springs....


.. Is this normal??????

I've seen pictures of the springs and that's how they look, two skiny ones and two fat ones.

Yeah, its normal, thats how my Tanabe springs look.

ya thats how they come.. the big fat ones go in the front tho..

Yep, the fronts springs are bigger in diameter. I believe it is because the fronts are mcphearson struts and not double wishbone. Correct me if I wrong, anybody?

It makes me feel better to know that, as I bought them on ebay for a steal... They were sealed and sold as new, but I was worried...

Yup that is correct, the strut type makes the springs different than the old civic. Paxie is in the process of making a DIY for his site. They show how big they are.
