Stay with standard black tint.... if you get the good "metallic based" tint, it'll be guaranteed for life (still normal black looking, just a metallic based material).

I got 15% on mine and I love it (Black EP3)

My buddy got 30% on his blue Spec-V... I think it's too light. You can clearly see him in full detail through the tint.

... Unless that's what you want....

I wouldn't go limo (5%) tho, you would have a hard time seeing out of your car at night....

i live in california and it is illigal to tint driver and passenger window so i was thinking 15% on back three and something ligher on the 2 front?

I live in ny/ct area, no cop stops a driver over here for having 15% but when they stop you for some other reason they usually bring it up and start bitching for the windows, other than that f..ck the legality, just imo stay away from 5% you should be ok.

i got mine done with 20% and i love it. it's dark enough to mask in daylight and i'm invisible at night. if you go with dark (not legal) then just use some common sense... if you're stopped next to a cop at a light then have your windows down or sunroof open so that light can get in to shine out. if you get pulled over turn on all the lights you can, if you open the door a little it will turn on the front and rear dome. I have a friend with limo on all sides and 20% on the front glass on a mustang. looks sick, but he's never gotten in trouble for it.... but when he gets pulled over the last thing they care about is the tint :P

as far as prices go... connections are good. got mine for $100 and it's amazingly perfect. the guy normaly charges about $200, he does it out of his garage on the weekends to pay for his corvette. during the week he's the head of the foreign language department at a local college. he's a great guy.

I would go with black tint and go as dark as the law allows where you live. Type X your car looks great it makes me wish I went white instead of silver.

ok i am getting 15 poercent on the rear windows and like 25 on the front 2 windows. just to make it not as noticable to my friendly neighborhood police. i will get it back at about 12pst
