Sound after installing "home made intake"

Hey...after following 02BlkSi's homemade intake instructions and turning off the car, I heard almost like a wheezing, sucking in sound. I am pretty sure its normal and I think I read about it in one of the threads here, but the search function is down. Is everything fine with the sound? Thanks for the thelp guys and gals...

I have the same thing, and if you time it just right after awhile when your driving, somehwere in the middle of having 1/4 throttle is the sweet spot where you can hear it whistle when you push down from sucking in.


That mixed with the hum and engine noise makes our cars sound sweet and sporty. I love it.
